Firescope

Firescope is a fire weather information and early warning system designed to support the shift from suppression to prevention, and to increase awareness and preparedness of stakeholders, practitioners, and the public concerning wildfire danger. The system takes advantage of WebGIS technology and state-of-the-art atmospheric numerical modeling to interactively present key fire weather information, both for the present (observations) and the short-term future (forecast).
